About this artwork
" Canal cruise " is a surrealist painting of a delft blue porcelain duck swimming in the heart of Amsterdam's famous canals. The background is an etched print on paper attached on a wooden panel produced in 1937 and brought back into the modern artistic "zeitgeist " with a surrealist twist.
