About this artwork
" Skyline with orange " is by all means and purposes a still life. A playful composition between modern pop art style architectural imagery and traditional 18th century dutch fruit painting, giving a nod to the dutch Royal family. The orange fruit, dating back to the early renaissance painting, also represents abundance, prosperity and ambition.
